Upset Prevention & Recovery Training (UPRT)
Learn to prevent and recover an aircraft from unusual attitudes. A mandatory step before transitioning to commercial aircraft.

What is UPRT(A)?
UPRT(A) is an advanced training program for pilots, designed to develop skills in preventing and recovering from unexpected flight situations (upset conditions). These include unusual aircraft attitudes, loss of control, or external factors affecting flight stability.

Course Objectives
- Enhance flight safety by recognizing early signs of abnormal or uncontrolled situations
- Develop correct reflexes for upset prevention and management using EASA-standardized techniques
- Improve aircraft control in unexpected conditions, increasing pilot confidence and decision-making ability
- Reduce the risk of Loss of Control In-Flight (LOC-I), the most common cause of aviation accidents worldwide
Course Structure
Theory
- Factors leading to aircraft upset
- Sensory illusions and human factors
- Prevention techniques
- Aerodynamic principles in extreme attitudes
Practical Training
- Stall maneuvers and recovery
- Upset recovery in various attitudes
- Energy and altitude management
- Realistic scenario simulations
